I wrote about Stockholm being a great city to visit in summer time (as probably any part of Sweden!). As I said then, it is likely a charming city well-worth visiting any time of the year. But summertime not only offers warmth and longer daylight hours. It offers better opportunities to observe life happen as I hope the photos in this post show.
Enjoy and let me know which is your favorite scene!
More pix of Stockholm here and of other parts of Sweden here!!
The party bus looks pretty fantastic! Happy New Year!

The “party bus” sure is a great party! The kids on the back of the trucks are 18 or 19 years old, and have graduated from school the same morning. Next step is work or university, or unemployment (25%) Celebrations include riding on a truck and drinking your ass of all day.
Thanks for sharing that! They looked young but I was not sure. It surely seems a better way to celebrate and not get in trouble. They clearly were very happy!
The guy in a suite, talking on his cell phone while riding a bike is awesome!
Great pictures!

It’s neat to see this being done in many towns. I also saw this in Christchurch, New Zealand!
Great pictures. My favorite picture is the one with the boy sitting by the window on the bus.
Yea, he looked deep in thought!

The guy on a bike talking on his cell for sure with the buses in the background. Just visited Stockholm in mid-December for the first time and it was beautiful. Would love to go back in the summer sometime
I’d love to go back any season, Tanya. Only spent one day (a beautiful one, though) and seems there is so much to enjoy!
did you find language to be a barrier to enjoying your vacation there? (and the pictures are beautiful!)
Great question, JR. English is pretty commonly spoken there so no barrier at all! And glad you enjoyed the pix! 🙂
Ohhh…I really like the app for the photos. Nice. I’ve never been to Stockholm or Sweden, but I’m dying to get to the Nordic country.

I’d love to know what regular, everyday task that couple is talking about. It looks like she is listing all the things on her list for the day and he’s just thinking, “Really, we have to go there, we need to buy that?” Or maybe that’s just the married guy coming out in me.

I got lucky that he was on the phone, wearing a suit and with the red bus to contrast!
My favorite scene are the legs on the blond in the last picture. Keep up the good work 🙂 Stockholm looks pretty, but I think I would rather visit in the winter when there is great cross-country skiing to enjoy.
